Calcuttan Rubble
Concrete, Porcelain
54" x 80" x 80"   2400 lbs
McMaster Gallery, Columbia, South Carolina
2001

Throughout many years the great masters and gurus have strolled the sidewalks of Calcutta, India. In their presence is a circular aura and energy that exudes into the depths of the concrete. After time this constant energy is captured and fossilized within the rubble. Calcuttan Rubble is a sample of this sidewalk that has been dismantled and reconstructed.
